The Worst Team In The League Is...

Once again the L.A. Clippers are awful. Another season where the Clippers show the world that they cannot hang in the NBA. Besides Blake Griffin being on the team, they suck. I apologize to any Clipper fans out there, but they are horrible. With a 5-18 record on the season, the Clippers are proving more and more that they need help.

The Clippers are an amazing 0-10 on the road so far this year. This is my favorite stat for the team because it is actually hard to believe. Although Blake Griffin is a rookie, he averages a double-double a game. With about 20 points and almost 12 rebounds per game, he is the best thing that the Clippers have going for them.

The team is already 14 games back in their division, and it doesn't seem to be getting any better for them. Hopefully they can win 1 out of their next 3 games against Memphis, Orlando and Philadelphia. I predict that they will beat Memphis, get crushed by Orlando, and somehow lose to the 76ers. Just because I love the Sixers, I will pick them to beat the Clippers. But please do not be surprised if the beloved 76ers lose to the very bad L.A. Clippers.

There is one good thing about being a rookie on a bad team, and that is playing time. Blake Griffin is averaging about 36 minutes per game and is shaping up to be a top player in the league. Technically I guess he is not a rookie since he was drafted in 2009, but he missed the entire season due to injuries. This is his first season playing full time and I want to wish him good luck.

Top 10 Dunks Of The Season.

I love dunks in the NBA and I am sure that many other people do. I found the top 10 dunks of this season so far and wanted to share it with you.

Kobe.

Kobe Bryant ceases to amaze me and everyone else. It is now surfacing that he is quickly climbing the All-Time Scoring ladder. Sitting at number 12 right now, if all goes well before his career is over he will be higher then that. Kobe is behind NBA greats such as Jordan, Wilkins, Kareem, Karl Malone and his buddy Shaq. This is a great category to be mentioned in and it will be fun to watch Kobe climb the ladder.

This year Kobe is averaging about 27 points per game, and is helping the Lakers work for yet another title. He has good help this year in Pau Gasol, therefore the Lakers will be a force at the end of the season once again.

Kobe also plays about 34 minutes per game which proves that he has not lost a step at all in his game. The 32 year old has been in the league for a long time and continues to impress everyone with his skills. With a 16-6 record so far this year, the Lakers look like they are ready for the post season again.

A Commercial You Should See.

I saw this commercial on TV recently and laughed my ass off. I don't know if it's just my sense of humor, but this commercial is really funny.

Here We Go Again.

Just when you thought the 76ers could actually beat a really good team, they just lose. I watched the whole game last night against the Boston Celtics and I must say, I thought for a little bit they were going to win. Thaddeus Young was playing great coming off the bench and scoring a nice few buckets in the 1st quarter. Iggy also had a few nice shots that were clutch.

The 76ers did not really put up too much of a fight to win this game either, and that is what pissed me off the most. Rondo absolutely destroyed the Sixers with 14 assists and 19 points. KG didn't have that good a night, which is another reason why the Sixers should have won the game. The only thing that he did all night was score with about a second left to beat the Sixers.

Elton Brand finished with a double-double and Meeks led the Sixers with 19 points. Overall the Sixers did play well, but not good enough to beat a team like the Boston Celtics, especially when they didn't even play at their best. Another heart breaker for Sixers fans as they lose this game in the last couple seconds.

Amar'e: MVP! MVP! MVP!

Amar'e Stoudemire is on fire in the NBA right now. Amar'e has scored 30 or more points in the last 6 games helping to give the New York Knicks a 6-game winning streak. It's about time the Knicks found some life and can actually compete for the playoffs. We all know they have not been the same since the Spreewell, Camby, and Allan Houston era.

Stoudemire is a 6 foot 10 inch Forward/Center averaging about 25 points per game. He is a monster in the paint and grabs close to 10 rebounds a game. He as also won two Player of the Week Awards recently and is making a push for this year's MVP. Amar'e has also been compared to a young Patrick Ewing lately because of the way he has been leading the team to victories.

With a 14-9 record, the Knicks are turning up the heat in the 2010-2011 season and making a run for the championship. They have won 11 out of their last 12 games and scored 100 points or more in most of those games. With Stoudemire playing like he is, they should continue to shine.

Should We Feel Bad For A Tired Pau Gasol?

Pau Gasol has been playing 40 minutes or more lately because of injuries to other teammates such as Theo Ratliff and Andrew Bynum. For some reason I don't feel too bad for him. The guy makes about 18 million dollars this year and is expected to be one of the best players in the league again.

Players like Pau Gasol are relied on by their team to take the heavy loads and be the work horses. Granted that he has Kobe Bryant to help relieve some pain, he is still greatly needed. He averages almost 40 minuets per game so far this season and about 20 points to go along with that. Being the big 7 footer that he is, means he also grabs a lot of rebounds. Along with about 20 points a game, he averages almost 12 rebounds a game also. Gasol averages a double-double per game, and is a dominant force when he is on the court.

Theo Ratliff is supposed to be back soon, therefore the scare of Gasol tiring himself out too early in the season should not be in everyone's mindset for too long.
