After missing a couple games, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant shines in his return against the Golden State Warriors. Durant led the team with 28 points and a win against the Warriors.
Durant looked pretty good coming back off a knee sprain. Although he only missed 2 games, a sprained knee may have needed a little more time to heal because an injury like that can haunt a player later in the season. Durant is also known as the Thunder's work horse playing at least 40 minutes a game. Leading the league in points per game with about 27, I guess it makes sense to play the guy most of the time. He is only 22 years old and can handle the intensity, but players tend to burn themselves out sometimes if they play too much early in the season.
Durant is also the best free throw shooter in the game currently and he is usually set to make the 2 shots about 91% of the time. The Thunder are off to a pretty good start with a 14-7 record on the season, but unfortunately they are in the same division as the San Antonio Spurs who are on fire this year so far.
Hopefully Durant can stay off the injury list and continue to improve his skills and remain one of the best players in the league at such an early age.
