Kevin Love Continues To Rise.

Power Forward for the Minnesota Timberwolves Kevin Love continues to rise as one of the best athletes in the NBA. Love has an amazing 4 games with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds. With an astonishing 31 total rebounds and 31 points on November 12 against the New York Knicks, it's no wonder why his minutes have increased significantly. Kevin Love is the face of the Timberwolves and seems to be their future as well.

Minnesota also exercised the $4.6 million contract option in Love's contract for 2011-12. Love is averaging a double-double for the season with 18.6 points per game and about 15 rebounds per game. Love is also getting his minutes increased as the season progresses. Starting the year off he averaged about 25 minutes per game, and now he is up to about 34 minutes per game. The Timberwolves organization is finally beginning to put all their trust in the 22 year old Power Forward from California.

In Friday's game against the Spurs, Kevin Love was all over the court grabbing 18 rebounds and having yet another double-double. Although the T'Wolves lost another game bringing their record to a pathetic 4-15, Love shined once again.

In my opinion, Kevin Love is the definition of a person that a team could be built around. The Timberwolves have yet to do that, but hopefully they are slowly working on it. If they could bring in perhaps 1 or 2 good ball handlers and good scorers, they could compete every year. Mainly because with a guy like Kevin Love under the rim to grab the rebounds, your team can easily be competitive.
