For people who may not know who this is, Phil Jasner was a great Philadelphia 76ers beat writer since 1981. The award-winning Daily News writer passed away Friday December 3, 2010.
Daily News editor Michael Days said Jasner "was a smart, elegant man who cared deeply about this paper and his colleagues."
Phil Jasner was 68 when he passed away and his writing will be missed by many.
